"Wondering if it's true- Can a caterpillar's color predict our winter weather? I've seen 3 black ones in 2 weeks- a sign of a BAD winter.
Another supposed sign of a bad winter... excessive acorns. A friend just told me they had so many acorns this year that they needed a shovel to remove them from their yard! Anyone see 2 woodpeckers sharing 1 tree? This is strangely another sign (according to the Farmer's Almanac)."
